Ball Wall Donations

Logan Webb is still accepting donations to help cover the cost of the ball wall he installed as part of his Eagle Scout Project this summer. The cost came to $2000. The PTA donated $700 and his family has incurred the rest of the cost. If you are willing to make a donation please send it into the school office marked for Ball Wall. Any size donation would be appreciated.

Be at Team Player - Read

The Be a Team Player - Read contest is coming up. Formally known as the Jazz Read-a-thon. The contest will go from January 20-February 21. Get your books ready and get excited to do A LOT of reading!! Watch for more information about reading parties, morning reads and areas where help will be needed. The improvements some students make with this extra focus is amazing. Please support your children in reaching their goals.

Flex Time Volunteers

We are working on coordinating volunteers for each of the grade level Flex Times. This is time when students are divided into groups based on their understanding of a specific subject.  Each group of students will then have activities or lessons to help them better understand the subject matter or receive enrichment. Volunteers are needed to help the teachers to either be an assistant in a large group or take a smaller group to have more individualized help. Each grade level is working on a schedule of where help is needed. We will let you know as soon as this information is finalized. The following grades have set a schedule for volunteers and you can go to the links for more information.

3rd Grade Fridays 1-1:30pm

4th Grade Varied days and time

6th Grade Thursdays 12:40-1:20pm

The PTA provides dinner for our teachers both nights of the SEP Conferences. If you are willing to help either night please sign up or contact Julie Wilford jkwilford@comcast.net 801-766-0139.
